Eclipse Awning Systems stands steadfastly behind our high-quality products. If any of the products that you have purchased from our company are defective, in materials and workmanship, we promise to repair or replace them free of charge under the terms of our standard warranty:
10 YEAR FRAME GUARANTEE:
Covers Eclipse, Total Eclipse, Eclipse SC, Eclipse Butterfly, and Total Eclipse Model Frames
The frames on the retractable awning models listed above are guaranteed to function, under proper usage, for ten years from the original date of purchase.
5 Year Frame Guarantee
Covers Elite and All Solar Screens
The frames on the models listed above are guaranteed to function, under proper usage, for five years from the original date of purchase.
5 Year Powder Coated Frame Finish Guarantee
Covers all products
The powder coated frame finish on all of our products is guaranteed to be free of defects, under proper usage, for five years from the original date of purchase.
Screen and Acrylic Fabrics
This is a limited warranty that guarantees the fabric from becoming unserviceable (because of loss of strength or color) from normal exposure conditions e.g. mildew, sunlight, atmospheric chemicals, or rot, for a period of 5-8 years (dependent on the brand of fabric) from the original date of purchase.
5 Year Optional Motor Guarantee
Our motors are guaranteed to be free of defects, under proper usage, for five years from the original date of purchase.
5 Year Optional Controls and Electronics
Covers all of our switches, electronics, and motor controls
All of the above components are guaranteed to be free from defects, under normal usage, for five years from the original date of purchase.
LIMITED LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION
EAS will not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages or injuries arising from an alleged breach of this within limited warranty.
EAS assumes no liability for damage to the awning system and/or component parts caused by faulty installation, reinstallation, service, or failure to adhere to pitch requirements, as set forth in the OEM and/or EAS installation manual. EAS is not responsible for damage to any structure to which the awning is installed or attached or to property or items located above, below or near the awning. Further, this warranty is void if the canopy is sold, serviced, or repaired by any unauthorized dealer or service outlet. Purchaser shall defend, indemnify, and hold EAS harmless against all claims, suits, proceedings, losses, liabilities, and damages (including costs, expenses, and reasonable attorneys’ fees) asserted by third parties against the Purchaser that arise out of any act or omission that constitutes a breach of Purchaser’s warranties hereunder.
EAS is not responsible to cover damage to the awning system or its component parts caused by acts of nature, such as hurricanes, gales, tornadoes, snow, sleet, heavy rain, heavy winds, hail, flooding, weights or loads allowed to accumulate on the awning, fire, or similar hazards.
EAS is not responsible to cover the cost of damage due to vandalism, neglect, improper use or care (or a combination of the foregoing), or dents, scratches, degradation due to salt corrosion (corrosion, oxidation, rust, chipping or peeling of paint finish), or weathering occurring from normal use, or wear and tear (on all related products).
This warranty does not cover labor costs and installation supplied by your dealer.
